Almaty. July 28. Silkroadnews - China opened rail freight route from Kurlya Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to the Turkish port Mersin, reported the agency "Xinhua".

Head of Customs of Urumqi Sun Zhijie said that direct message of rail freight on these routes promotes exports of Xinjiang production. The main exports are oil production equipment and spare parts for motor vehicles, household appliances, construction materials and consumer goods.
Currently the reight is carried out by regular movement Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe, Europe-Chengdu and Zhengzhou-Xinjiang-Europe, the Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe etc. They connect the country with the countries of Asia and Europe.
