Humanitarian aid from 31 states in the amount of $21.1 million received Tajikistan in the I half

Almaty. July 21. Silkroadnews - the Republic of Tajikistan (RT) in January-June 2015 has received humanitarian aid from 31 countries in the world for more than $21.1 million with a total weight of about 8.6 thousand tons, reported Afghan News Agency (AfTAG) on Tuesday.
Among the donor countries the greatest share of humanitarian assistance fells on Germany - 39.8%. Followed by: The Netherlands - 12.4%, Denmark - 8.7%, United Arab Emirates - 8.1%, Austria - 4.3%, Afghanistan - 4%, India - 3.4%, Latvia - 3.2 %, Iran and Kuwait - by 2.3%, China - 1.8%, Greece and Norway - by 1.3%, France - 1.2%, and another 17 countries.
It is noteworthy that among the donor countries that provided humanitarian assistance to Tajikistan during this period, Afghanistan with $800 thousand takes the sixth place. And this at a time when almost uninterruptedly in Afghanistan are fighting for the past 35 years. Meanwhile, the civil war in Tajikistan lasted about five years.
