100 billion cubic meters of natural gas was supplied to China through pipeline China-Central Asia
Almaty. November 17. Silkroadnews - The total volume supplied to China natural gas through pipeline China-Central Asia crossed the mark of 100 billion cubic meters, indicates the report of the agency "Xinhua".
"To date, were commissioned lines A, B and C of the gas pipeline China-Central Asia, which is an important part of China and good practice in the creation of economic zones of the Silk Road. Building of the line D was launched in September of this year", - said in the published data reported by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
To date, CNPC has transported 70 million tons of crude oil and 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China from Central Asia, specified in the information.
As reported, the branch D with the length of 1 thousand km, is one of the main projects of the energy cooperation between China and Central Asia. It will be laid from Turkmenistan through Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to China. Project annual volume of gas supplies will be 30 billion cubic meters.
According to CNPC, the total investment in the line D is estimated at $6.7 billion. The project will be completed by the end of 2020, when the annual volumes of oil and gas from Central Asia to China will reach 90 million tons of oil.
