Almaty. May 25. KazTAG - 181 terrorist group defused in the north-west of China during the year, informed Xinhua news agency.
"During the year since the beginning of the anti-terrorist campaign in Xinjiang (northwest China), local police defused 181 terrorist group", - said in a statement.
According to the data of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of China, 96.2% of terrorist groups have been neutralized in the planning stage of terrorist attacks, 112 suspects surrendered to police.
As recalled by the agency, the campaign was launched after the terrorist attack in Urumqi on May 22 last year, when 39 people were killed.
