"According to opinion polls, 44% of the population hold unused phones at home", - said S. Baeshova at the conference "Development of infrastructure for waste disposal in Kazakhstan" on Wednesday.
According to her, the number of mobile phones in Kazakhstan has reached 22 million.
"The amount of formation of electronic waste per capita in Kazakhstan is 20 kg" - brought their data project expert Julia Dushkina.
