500 cases of TB revealed annually among Kyrgyz migrants in Russia

Bishkek. March 25. Silkroadnews - 500 cases of TB revealed annually among Kyrgyz migrants in Russia, as the Director of the National Phthisiatry Centre, Abdulaat Kadyrov reports.
“500 cases of TB are revealed annually among Kyrgyz migrants in Russia. 70% of those suffer from drug-resistant forms of TB, 30% – from drug-sensitive forms of TB”, Mister Kadyrov says.
He also informs that one individual infected with the open TB can pass the infection to up to 15-20 people annually.
