80 employers offer job opportunities for disabled people at specialised job fair in Astana

Astana. March 27. Silkroadnews – Around 80 companies offer job opportunities to disabled people at the specialised job fair in Astana.
“80 companies submitted their applications to participate in this job fair. There are around 300 positions on offer”, Olga Demushkan from the Social Programs and Employment Department.
Both public sector companies and national corporations are represented at the job fair.
“There is no cap on earnings in the companies. Once a disabled person joins the team, he or she is just as much of a team member as anybody else there. Therefore, they receive the same salaries on the same pay days”, the deputy head of the Department O. Demushkan says.
“The companies demand all kinds of employees from security and concierge staff to highly skilled engineers and doctors”, she added.
According to Astana City authorities, around 18 000 disabled people are residing in Astana. Around 11 000 of them are able to work.
