99% produced in Kyrgyzstan gold ore is exported to Kazakhstan
Almaty. November 19. Silkroadnews - 99% produced in Kyrgyzstan gold ore is exported to Kazakhstan under the regime of processing outside the customs territory, reports KyrTAG citing a draft government resolution "On the temporary suspension of the premises of ore and concentrates containing precious metals, under the customs regime of processing outside the customs territor".
"Over 7 months of 2014 was exported 61 thousand 41.9 tons of gold ore, which is 1.8 times greater than the volume of exports in the last 7 months of 2013. At the same time 99% of the ore is transported to Kazakhstan under the regime of processing outside the customs territory",- said in the document.
As noted, in recent years, the country observed the growth of export volumes of ore and concentrates containing precious metals, in countries near and far abroad for further processing. For 6 years the export of gold ore has increased more than 13 times. In 2008 was exported 4 thousand 731.4 tons of gold ore in 2013 was exported 62 thousand 155.5 tons of ore.
As previously reported, the KR government intends to introduce a temporary ban until 31 March 2015 on the export of gold ore.
