A massive intelligent parking lot opens in Beijing

Almaty. August 4. Silkroadnews – A massive intelligent parking lot opens in Beijing, Chinese newspaper China Daily reported.
“With a staggering 2679 spaces, and charging just 6 yuan ($0.9) per hour, Beijing’s largest intelligent underground parking lot is now open for business’, the report said.
“Located near China’s largest People’s Liberation Army hospital and a major basketball Stadium, the parking lot can cater not only for the parking needs of patients and medical professionals, but can ease parking congestion during big events”, newspaper says.
It is reported that the parking lot is equipped with intelligent vehicles tracking facility, advanced payment systems and can provide the first of its kind robot automatic parking services.
According to publication, the intelligent car search function will help solve the search problem for those car owners who used to forget where they parked their vehicles. To do this, one should simply enter the car’s license plate number on the touch screen and the system will indicate not only the parking space, but also show it on the parking map. Customers can pay for parking through Alipay or WeChat payment systems.
As reported, so far only a half of the parking spaces have been put into operation, the rest will be presented as needed.
