Beijing. February 27. Silkroadnews - Fifteen inspection teams have been instructed to check compliance with party discipline in provincial regions, state agencies and state-owned enterprises, Xinhua reports.
The teams will inspect the party organizations in 14 provincial regions, including the provinces of Hebei and Guangdong; eight ministries, such as the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs; and eight state-owned enterprises, including China National Nuclear Corp.
Checks will be conducted in ten cities, including Dalian and Shenyang in Liaoning Province; Nanjing, Jiangsu Province; and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
Inspectors have arrived at party organizations and will stay there until the end of May - longer than during the previous inspections, which usually lasted for about two months.
The teams expect to receive reports of suspicions of violations committed by leading officials. In addition, the teams should focus their checks on key officials and official units.
Starting with the first round of inspections in May 2013, the party organizations have been inspected across 277 institutions and 16 regional provincial organizations.
More than 50% of the investigations into individuals in the central administration were initiated by information disclosed by inspectors checking the party discipline compliance following the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.
