Almaty. November 18. Silkroadnews - In 2015 in Kyrgyzstan are possible earthquakes of 6-7 points in the epicenter, said the director of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov on Tuesday.
According to the scientist, in 2015, Kyrgyzstan entered a zone of seismic activity. The peak of seismic activity occurs throughout the year, particularly in December - January, in May - June and September.
As noted K.Abdrahmatov, in 2015 the strength of earthquakes in the Issyk-Kul region could reach 6-7 points, but it is not excluded that the tremors will occur in the south too.
