A unique guide to Uzbekistan has been created for the tourists from Russia and CIS countries

Almaty. April 29. Silkroadnews – “Marakanda Expedition” company with the support of “Uzbektourism” and the association of private tourist organizations of Uzbekistan has developed a guide for Russian-speaking tourists from Russia and CIS countries, the press-service of “Uzbektourism” informs, UzTAG reports.

“140-pages publication consists of separate sections on travel planning, country and people, tourists’ routes of Uzbekistan. As a total one can find here 38 routes and 17 maps of cities of Uzbekistan,” the statement notes.

The special section “Academic routes” includes the routes to follow the way of Alexander the Great, visit the ancient Khorezm known as Central Asian Egypt, meet with Central Asian Buddhist heritage, get acquainted with architecture, artistic textiles and pottery.

“Country and people” part brings visitors to the history of ancient times, traditions and customs, religion, holidays and festivals. It also includes a mini-phrasebook.

The guide also provides the detailed information on the climate, financial issues, shopping and bazaars and gives some practical advice. It also includes the insert map of Uzbekistan and detailed map of Tashkent.
