ADB gave China a loan of $300 million to improve air quality in Beijing

Almaty. December 11 Silkroadnews - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the issuance of credit of $300 million to improve air quality in Beijing, reports the newspaper "People's Daily".
"The loan will be aimed at reducing the use of coal in the province of Hebei, which is the main cause of air pollution in Beijing and Tianjin", - says the publication.
So, one of the ADB experts said that despite the great efforts of China, "the problem of pollution is still there", the main reason is the economic and industrial structure in Hebei Province. Of the ten cities with the most polluted air in China, seven are located in Hebei Province.
