ADB increases the annual program of assistance to Tajikistan to nearly $ 80 million in 2015

Almaty. January 15. Silkroadnews - In 2015, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is increasing its assistance to Tajikistan by approximately $20 million, increasing the planned annual program of aid to $79 million, reported Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
The program of assistance to Tajikistan in 2015 will focus on improving the investment climate, as well as support for private sector development, railways and water resources.
In this case, $20 million are provided to improve the quality and effectiveness of vocational education in Tajikistan, another $20 million- budget support programs, in particular, to support a series of reforms to improve the investment climate and create jobs, $30 million - to improve water management and strengthening adaptation to climate change in the irrigation zone Chubek. Another $9 million will be spent on development of the project on the railways.
