ADB will provide $130 million to repair roads in Afghanistan

Almaty. February 12. Silkroadnews - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has decided to provide Afghanistan a grant of $130 million (7.5 billion afghanis) to improve the country's transport system, reported the Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Funds will be used to strengthen the rail network, financing the 108-kilometer road between the Baharak and  Eshkashim districts in Badakhshan, as well as the repair of roads across the country.
An agreement was signed by representatives of the Afghan government and ADB on Wednesday in Kabul.
