Administration of Agriculture of Uzbekistan has denied media's report on outbreak of anthrax

Almaty. August 5. Silkroadnews - The Chief State Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan denied the message of some foreign media about the suspected anthrax of 19 people in the Samarkand region, reports UzTAG referring to Chief State Veterinary Administration Bahram Narkobulov.
He noted that in the summer, because of the heat, intensifies the danger of the spread of infectious diseases among livestock. In this regard, the regional offices of control, having at its disposal a variety of modern means of detection of acute infections, intensified prevention efforts.
