Afganistan established telephone service for medical advise
Kabul. September 9. Silkroadnews - The Afghan Ministry of Health, and the first social network Paywast open mobile medical center (Health Information Center) to help the Afghan people to consult with doctors via telecommunications, reports AfTAG.
"Afghans from anywhere in the country can now dial 166, to consult with qualified doctors - men and women - for medical queries related to reproductive and maternal health, nutrition and polio", - said in a statement.
Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Abdul Bazir Sarva explained the goal of a call-center.
"Access to quality health care in our country has increased over the past decade, but the awareness of the health information of our people is not enough, so we in collaboration with our medical partners are trying to raise public awareness", - he said.
Meanwhile, the company Paywast said that they are working on the development of the mobile market of Medicine and a partner in the project Health Information Center.
