Afghan army rescued 58 people from Taliban prison

Beijing. Jul 18. Silkroadnews - Afghan Special Forces have raided a Taliban prison in Helmand and rescued 58 people, including security officials, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
“In a raid on a Taliban prison, Afghan army special forces liberated 58 people in Musa Qala district of southern Helmand province,” the Afghan Voice Agency quoted saying by Abdul Qayom Nuristani, head of press office of ANA special force corps.
According to him, among those rescued, there were four military soldiers, fifteen policemen and two doctors. Also four militants of the Taliban have been arrested.
In its statement the Ministry of Defense confirmed the release of 58 people from the Taliban prison, saying that the operation was conducted based on intelligence information received.
