Afghan President is confident that cooperation with Turkmenistan will provide new opportunities for development

Almaty. September 22. Silkroadnews - On Monday, the president of the IRA Ashraf Ghani said that the improvement of relations with Turkmenistan and the recent regional summit RECCA will increase the likelihood of increased transit traffic from Afghanistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Afghan President expressed confidence that the relevant agreements will be signed in the near future and cooperation with Turkmenistan in the sphere of economic projects and transit of goods will be fruitful.
It should be noted that in the context of obstacles from Pakistan, as Afghan's goods pass through it's territory, turnover of IRA with Tukmenistan fell by 40%.
