Afghanistan appointed new NATO ambassador

Almaty. November, 18. Silkroadnews - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has appointed a new ambassador to the North Atlantic Alliance in Afghanistan, permanent representative of Turkey Ismail Aramaz in Kabul, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
As reported in the press service of NATO, it is expected that he will assume his duties at the beginning of next year.
Aramaz succeeds Maurits Jochems, who was an ambassador for NATO in Kabul since August 2012.
