Afghanistan is interested to increasing the supply of oil from Russia

Almaty. February 7. Silkroadnews – Afghanistan expects the oil imports from Russia to increase, Russian mass media write.
“We discussed economic cooperation and trade relations. We focused on possibilities of Russian investment in Afghanistan. In particular, we are interested to increase oil imports from Russia”, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani said after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
In 2016 Deputy Minister of Energy Yury Sentyurin reported that Russia considered possibility to deliver to Afghanistan 1-1.5 million tonnes of oil per year.
