Almaty. June 20. Silkroadnews – On Monday Afghan President Ashraf Ghani took part in the ceremony of opening air corridor with India, Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
The first cargo plane departing from Kabul exported 60 tonnes of agricultural products totaling $5 million. By now, the next flight has already been scheduled to deliver 40 tonnes of products from Kandahar to India.
Earlier, as it was noted, duties for air transportation to India for Afghan entrepreneurs were up to 70 cents per kilogram, but due to creation of an air corridor, costs will decrease to 20 cents which should contribute to development of Afghanistan’s agriculture and trade relations between countries.
