Afghanistan’s ministry of education argues against the foreign professors teaching in Afghan high schools

Almaty. January 26. Silkroadnews – The Afghan Ministry of Education stated the private universities should employ Afghan teachers only, while recommended teachers from other countries to be provided with the short-term visas only, Afghan News Agency (AfTAG) reports.

Department of private universities and institutions of higher education issued a decree stating the deficit of teachers within the country should be solved by one’s own forces without attracting professors from other countries.

The head of the department Mohammad Amir Kamaval explained such a decision is stipulated by the respective demand. Many Afghans who have received their master’s degree stay without due job, though, as he believes, Afghanistan brings up many talented young people with great potential allocating huge funds for their education.
