Almaty. June 27. Silkroadnews – Afghanistan’s parliament has ratified the protocol of accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), AfTAG writes.

“This is     the passing of a five-year era when Afghanistan worked hard to reform the trade in the country. Soon the country will have an access to the international markets and reduced transit procedure, that, in the end, shall result in foreign investments inflow,” Mozammel Shinwari, deputy minister of commerce and industries, said.

In the near future the relevant document shall be submitted to president Ashraf Ghani for signing.

In 30 days after president signs the document Afghanistan will become an official member of WTO.
