Afghanistan's president promised to raise teachers' salaries
Almaty. October 15. Silkroadnews - Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, speaking during the festivities in honor of the teachers day, said that the government will improve the living conditions of teachers, raise wages, informs AfTAG.
According to the publication, the President noted that the government will fulfill these obligations within the next 6 months.
The President called on teachers and professors actively to assist the government in the fight against corruption. He said that the new government's goal is to improve the education system of the country over the next five years.
A.Gani also said that the government is committed to providing more opportunities for children to have better access to education.
