Agreement between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on unified railway tariffs will be signed in Bishkek this September
Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews – Intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on use of unified railway fares on Kyrgyz goods to be signed in Bishkek coming September, Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.
“The council developed a coordinated mechanism on use of unified railway tariffs and as soon as possible there will be an agreement developed between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on the unified railway fares on Kyrgyz goods. I hope, this agreement will be signed within the CIS anniversary summit in Kyrgyzstan this September”, KazTAG quoted S. Jeenbekov speaking at the meeting of intergovernmental board of EEU in Sochi on Friday.
“These decisions show you can solve any problem with the mutual desire”, he added.
To remind, Sochi hosts the meeting of heads of the government of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Introduction of uniform tariff will reduce the costs of imported goods having made a positive impact on the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, as these costs directly affect the prices for products, raw materials and other products.
