Almaty. July 14. Silkroadnews - Impact of Tajik Rogun Hydro Power Plant (HPP) on countries of the river basin will be discussed in Almaty, the Tajik news agency reports (TajiikTA).
It is noted that the meeting will discuss the latest previews and reports prepared under evaluation studies with interested parties representing the country's river basin, including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
So, will discuss the safety of the dam, water resources management, reservoir operation, the facility's impact on the country's river basin, economic and financial analysis.
Indicated that this year should be solved the issue of further construction of Rogun.
