Almaty. January 23. Silkroadnews - Almost half of the pyrotechnics in China does not meet the standards, “Xinhua” agency reports.

“143 batches of pyrotechnics made by 143 Chinese enterprises in 2016 does not meet the standards, the coefficient of non-compliance with quality requirements reached 47.7%”, the statement by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine says.

As reported by the public administration, the percentage of compliance decreased by 33.4 percentage points against the index of 2015.

The major reasons behind such a decline in the coefficient of compliance with quality requirements in the country were introduction of new, higher standards and unconscientious attitude by certain enterprises.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC carried out spot checks on 300 batches of fireworks made by 300 enterprises of Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Shaanxi and Guangxi provinces. The major problems were the product strength, structure and materials of fuses.
