Bishkek. June 3. Silkroadnews – American military leaves around USD 30 mln worth of property to Kyrgyzstan, as the US air base is closing in Bishkek.
“A symbolic ceremony of giving the keys from the Manas Transit Centre back to the Kyrgyz party took place today. American military leaves around USD 30 mln worth of property to Kyrgyzstan. This includes equipment, premises, building, new fire station building, 2 canteens, gym with all the necessary equipment, 6 tents, 20 hostels with furniture (each hostel is for 100 people)”, the Press Office reports.
The commander of Manas Transit Centre, John Millard passed symbolic keys from the base along with the rights to use all the property to Kyrgyz deputy Commander-in-Chief Mirbek Imayev.
