According to the State Statistical Bureau of China, personal data will be collected in the traditional way, filling of paper forms, or on the website of the State Statistics.
By the end of the month will be the preparations for the census, and the collection of information will begin on November 1 and will continue for two weeks - until November 15. During this time, workers of competent services will bypass their house enumeration and conduct a survey. At the same time the people who are going to fill out a form online, will need to do this until November 7.
The current census will allow to see the changes in the demographic situation of the country in quantitative, qualitative and structural characteristics, will help track changes in the preferences of the place and conditions of residence for the last five years. The obtained data will be used to develop plans for social and economic development of the country.
In the course of the forthcoming census will be interviewed about 14 million people in all regions of the country, ie, about 1% of the total population of China. Previously, such a census was conducted in 1987, 1995 and 2005.
