Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai was inaugurated as President of Afghanistan

Almaty. September 29. Silkroadnews - Inauguration of Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai took place on Monday in Kabul, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
It was reported that on the occasion of the inauguration of President in Afghanistan September 29 was officially declared a public holiday. In Kabul introduced security measures. Reinforced patrols of police, army blocked all entrances to the city and the key metropolitan areas.
After completion of inauguration a new president of the country will lead to the oath of Prime Minister Abdul Abdullah and two vice-presidents - Abdul Rashid Dostum and Mohammad Sarwar Danesh.
Washington hopes that Ahmadzai will sign security agreement with the United States governing the continued presence in Afghanistan of limited number of American troops, immediately after his inauguration.
Both candidates have previously assured in case of a victory to sign an agreement with the United States. A similar agreement by new president was to be signed with NATO.
As reported, the Ahmadzai defeated in the second round of the presidential election with 55.27% of the vote.
