Ashraf Ghani to discuss supply of weapons to the Afghan National Security in New Delhi

Almaty. September 14. Silkroadnews – President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani arrives in India on a two-day state visit, AfTAG reports.

According to the publication, A. Ghani will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of India Pranab Mukherjee, some other Indian officials and high-level entrepreneurs and also attend the guest meeting with Afghan students.

Within the framework of the visit the Afghan leader will give a speech at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses to share Afghanistan's views on a range of questions, including the fight against terrorism and extremism.

Two countries will also discuss cooperation in the field of defense. New Delhi is expected to confirm its plans to supply weapons to Afghan forces of national defense and security.
