At an emergency meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization declared the inadmissibility of incidents like the destruction of the SU-24 in Syria

Almaty. November 26. Silkroadnews - At the initiative of the Russian side on Wednesday held an emergency meeting of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in connection with the destruction by the Turkish Air Force of the Russian Su-24 in Syria, the report indicates the organization.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO, the staff of the Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff.
At a meeting of the parties considered the spread of terrorism as a common challenge for all countries and strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms as a threat to international security, expressed the need for consolidation of efforts of the entire international community in a joint and efficient fight against this threat.
As the press-secretary of the CSTO Secretariat Vladimir Zainetdinov, during the meeting, the official representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation provided detailed information, including the submission of photos and video of the downed in Syria Russian Su-24.
It was noted that the incident is regarded as a flagrant violation of international law with the most serious consequences, a direct violation of the memorandum on the prevention of accidents and safety in the Syrian Arab Republic, signed with the United States and applies to all coalition countries, including Turkey.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
