Regarding the Thursday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 31.3.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1078.941 (-21.494) and in British pounds 834.57 (-22.38).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
