Regarding the Tuesday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 7.1.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1080.566 (-4.894) and in British pounds 838.835 (-7.339).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
