Regarding the Monday evening fixing in dollar terms it decreased by 15.35.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1121.408 (-13.685) and in British pounds 887.102 (-9.788).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
