Regarding the Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it declined by 7.15.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1131.529 (-9.048) and in British pounds 881.536 (-6.445).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT.
The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
