Regarding the Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it rose by 1.4.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1068.803 (+1.36) and in British pounds 854.579 (-1.264).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
