Regarding the Wednesday evening fixing in dollar terms it raised by 33.25.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1080.801 (+21.233), and in British pounds 847.331 (+24.94).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
