Regarding the Thursday evening fixing in dollar terms it rose by 2,15.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1035,577 (+4,181), and in British pounds 797,398 (+5,703).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
