Regarding the Wednesday evening fixing in dollar terms it increased by 16.1.
The cost of gold ounce in euros made 1086.073 (+13.644) and in British pounds 879.696 (+12.473).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
