Regarding the Thursday evening fixing in dollar terms it rose by18.5.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1119.448 (+11.417), and in British pound 873.797 (+11.046).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
