Regarding the Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it rose by 10.85.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1118.148 (-5.147), and in British pound 881.32 (+3.168).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
