Almaty. October 9. Silkroadnews - New sanitary checkpoint "Kara-Suu" will be opened on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Valery Dil, reports KyrTAG.
"In order to implement an action plan ( "Roadmap" ) on the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Customs Union it is planned to organize a new medical-sanitary quarantine station at the checkpoint, "Kara-Suu Zheleznodorozhniy". This decision was made in connection with the planned opening of the railway communication", - he said after the meeting on the work of the sanitary and quarantine stations in connection with the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Customs Union.
Vice Prime Minister stressed that this action will contribute to the growth of mutual trade between the neighboring countries and greatly facilitate working conditions for entrepreneurs.
V.Dil also said that in the near future will be eliminated medical sanitary and quarantine stations at border checkpoints of airports "Karacol" and "Batken".
"The decision to liquidate two medical sanitary and quarantine stations accepted, as these airports are not registered with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the deployment of sanitary and quarantine stations in them is not provided", - he explained.
