Beijing. January 25. Silkroadnews - By April 1, the number of ATMs in Uzbekistan can grow to 595, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reported.
150 ATMs are planned to be installed in the country in the I quarter, the Central Bank officials say.
According to the CB’s press service, the number of ATMs grew by 159 in December 2017 alone. Expansion of ATM network across public places ensures even more opportunities for the population. To add, in 2017 the volume of payments for goods and services made through the bank cards amounted to 53 trillion som, which is 57% of the total volume of payments.
