“The area of the future aviation technical center’s production facilities is more than 6000 square meters. Its launch is scheduled for May of this year. The first demonstration of the new center’s possibilities will be carried out during the international exhibition of arms and military equipment “KADEX-2016”,” the statement informs.
Aviacenter is aimed at the formation of high-tech industrial base maintenance of aircraft. It will carry out the maintenance and repair of equipment of the Air Force of Kazakhstan. As soon as the center starts its operation there will be no need to send fighter aircraft Su-30 and military transport aircraft C-295, An-26 and An-72 to their manufacturing facilities for the repair and maintenance. The Kazakhstani technical personnel with appropriate training will provide the flight life through the whole life cycle of the aircraft.
According to the experts, the geographical location of Kazakhstan and the newly created production capacities will enable the new Air Technical Center to unlock and use its potential not for the benefit of the Armed Forces only, but also operating at the due regional level.
