Azerbaijan and Iran signed a number of documents on cooperation

Almaty. February 23. Silkroadnews - A package of bilateral documents including 11 agreements and memoranda has been signed during the official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Tehran on Tuesday, Trend reports.
Thus, among the documents signed there are agreement on cooperation in the field of emergencies elimination and consequences limitations, agreement on mutual administrative assistance in customs issues, agreement in the field of veterinary and animal health, a framework agreement on electricity sales, a framework agreement on connection of the Azerbaijani and Iranian railways, the agreement on cooperation in the construction of the railway bridge Astara (Azerbaijan) - Astara (Iran).
Besides, the memorandum was signed on mutual understanding between the State Committee for Family, Women and Children of Azerbaijan and the Iranian vice-presidency of the Women and family, along with Memorandum of Understanding in the field of health and medicine between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Cooperatives, labor and social well-being of Iran, memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani state company SOCAR and the National Iranian Oil Company, memorandum of understanding between SOCAR and Iranian Ghadir Investment Company
The documents have been signed in the presence of the two presidents - President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
