Azerbaijan does not see itself as part of the EEU - analyst
Astana. December 10. Silkroadnews - Azerbaijan does not see itself as a part of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), KazTAG reports citing Azerbaijani political scientist Tofig Abbasov.
According to him, from Armenian side there is a fact of aggression against Azerbaijan.
At the same time, he noted that the current Customs Union (CU) has not ceased yet and the Eurasian Economic Union has not yet started to function, but between Russia and Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia already seen some friction in trade relations.
In turn, the director of the Center of Strategic Development of the CIS Institute of Europe, Russian Academy of Sciences, director of the Institute of Strategic Planning and Forecasting Alexander Gusev advised the Azerbaijani side "do not miss" the opened possibility to enter CU or EEU.
According to him, the integration of the former Soviet Union will evolve and include new states beyond.
Gusev said that about 40 countries work out the possibility of interaction the CU.
