Azerbaijan is interested in military cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. June 1. Silkroadnews - The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev met with Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, reports KyrTAG.
T. Sariev noted that the cooperation of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are at high level. In particular, there have been significant results in the development of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation in the socio-economic, socio-political, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the military field.
The head of government stressed that military cooperation is one of the most important components of the entire spectrum of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations. He expressed the readiness of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to strengthen and develop fruitful Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister, in turn, has expressed interest in expanding the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation in the military sphere, as well as in matters of army building and education.
During the meeting the sides also discussed the fight against religious extremism and terrorism, and participation of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan in peacekeeping missions.
