Almaty. October 20. Silkroadnews – Azerbaijan proposes to facilitate joint construction of new power plants with Iran, Trend reports.
The new power plants joint construction by Azerbaijan and Iran will contribute to raising the energy stability and export potential of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the head of “Azerenergy” Etibar Pirverdiyev said.
According to him, this project should be implemented as soon as possible.
“This project is very important both for Azerbaijan and Iran. We should facilitate the works in this regard. Construction of power plants will improve energy sustainability of Nakhchivan and its export potential”, E. Pirverdiyev said.
